For the first time in quite some time I actually wish I had a PC. No, it's not that I've grown tired of OSX. It's because this Microsoft demo of Photosynth is currently only working on Win XP and Vista. I only recently discovered Google Street View and was mightily impressed. Photosynth however, is something far bigger. Somthing like and engine for linking, associating and mapping the collective mind of graphical (and text) data. Have a look at this excellent video, and then continue on to the actual demo. ·

Household products are often advertised and sold via TV Shop. Boring and traditional. Blender manufacturer Blendtec takes a more inventive inventive tack: Will It Blend? A promotional site where they use the company blender to blend.. well, pretty much what ever they can find. Glow sticks, diamonds, Janet Jackson, golf clubs, light bulbs, action figures and workout videos.

Ms. Dewey is not a bad search bot. Not bad at all. Granted, Live Search is not the quickest way to search the web. But it's fun and produces very relevant results.
